  I am not here to judge anyone, But I want to say is the situation from my point of view. She is not a victim in the literal sense but got into trouble as a result of her actions I don't think the story is about her wanting the dog to be immortal, It’s about money. She believed that he was a rich man and that he could increase her money in the beginning to relieve the pressure on her with the debt of the restaurant, And the evidence is her getting quick marriage without telling anyone as a promise from him to fulfill what he says, and also she wants to drop the tax from the amount he will give her. When he took a lot of money and didn't return it, at least she became trapped and had no choice but to believe what he said to create a world for her.
